Synchrony: Experience Center – NYC
Synchrony, a leader in consumer financial services, wanted a bold way to showcase its tech-forward offerings at its flagship New York City location. I helped bring this vision to life by producing a 2,000-square-foot interactive Experience Center that blends immersive storytelling, hands-on demos, and custom creative technology.
One of the standout features is Rony—a custom-built, AI-powered phygital hologram designed as a virtual brand ambassador. We developed Rony using projection mapping and generative AI tools to create an interactive 360° holographic experience. She introduces guests to Synchrony’s mission, answers questions in real-time, and adds a human element to the space’s digital-first narrative.
The Experience Center was designed for both exploration and engagement. It includes:
A central touch table for guided product discovery
A large LCD wall displaying dynamic financial content
Demo devices that allow guests to test Synchrony's tools firsthand
An interactive entry projection that responds to visitors
Floor-to-ceiling LED-wrapped columns
A custom patent wall showcasing proprietary technology
Original murals by NYC-based artists
A collaboration zone with gold custom-fabricated benches
From initial concepting to delivery, I led the digital production across teams—balancing creative, technical, and experiential elements to create an environment that highlights Synchrony’s innovation and builds meaningful connections with visitors.
